D.C. Police are investigating a snatch-and-grab cell phone robbery involving what appeared to be a 7-year-old boy.
The incident occurred at the McDonald’s in the 4300 block of Nannie Helen Burroughs Avenue in Northeast D.C. at around 6:30 p.m. Sunday.
Police say a group of boys aged 7 to 14 approached a customer in the restaurant. When the customer took a cell phone out to call police, the 7-year-old boy allegedly snatched it from him and fled the scene.
